Ned Schoenfeld

Ned Schoenfeld is a founding partner of Cove Hill Consulting. He is a business leader with strong technology, operational and financial expertise. His consistent track record of highly successful business results includes: strategic planning, large scale project delivery, business start-ups, organizational transformation, process re-engineering, and productivity improvement. He has alternated between management consulting and directly managing large technology and operational environments while leading organizations through significant change. Ned has multi regional experience in the U.S., Canada, UK, Eastern Europe and APAC.

During his 25 year career, Ned has served companies in multiple industries and many specifically in financial services. These companies include: Cantor Fitzgerald, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, DTCC, First Data, Healthfirst, UBS, and USAA. In addition to serving clients, Ned enjoys lecturing, mentoring, photography, and serving charitable organizations.

Notable Accomplishments:

  • Provided strategic advice to a large transaction processing company, achieving improved customer satisfaction scores (22%) while reducing operational expenses;
  • Redesigned the quality assurance process of a client-facing call center, including extensive use of speech analytics to understand client behavior and tailor processes to meet client needs;
  • Reduced expenses of a division of a financial services company by 37%, saving $20mm annually;
  • Improved productivity of a large financial services operational division by 54%, saving the division more than $70mm;
  • Managed the annual strategic review process for a health care organization, engaging with all corporate division more than $70mm;

Trevor Stone

Trevor is a founding partner at Cove Hill Consulting. He is a self-starting creative thinker with strengths in strategic problem solving, business analysis, process design, and project management. As a partner at Cove Hill, he is responsible for the success of client engagements, managing staff consultants, and building relationships that enable the company to better understand the businesses it serves. He has over a decade of management consulting experience serving clients in financial services, healthcare, retail, consumer package goods, fintech, and energy.

Throughout his career, Trevor has consulted with public and private businesses and non-profit organizations across the country including: Chevron, Sutter Health, First Data, Safeway, Pacific Gas & Electric, Clorox, Magnacare, Healthfirst, and Deutsche Bank.

Trevor has a BS from Binghamton University's School of Management where he advises students as part of a consulting-based, service learning curriculum, and is active in the swimming and diving alumni community.

When not at work, Trevor enjoys spending time with his family and friends, triathlon, photography, and home brewing.

Notable Accomplishments:

  • Managed initiative to reengineer Order to Cash process for a Fortune 500 company. Removed redundant steps, identified control points, and reduced overall timeline by 20%, allowing client to recognize millions in revenue in current fiscal year.
  • Partnered with 20+ department heads to reduce new hire attrition in a financial services company. Created new processes and shortened timelines of problem areas to ensure PC and related hardware, personnel records and agreed compensation, building and system access rights, and office furniture were in place on time for new hire start dates.
  • Led design and implementation of a new project management methodology for a large health insurer. Implemented governance structure for portfolio, program, and project work, retrained 100+ staff, and partnered with IT to deliver a software platform to support the process.
  • Partnered with the executive team of a regional insurance company to redefine their mission, vision, and values. Led SWOT analysis with senior managers and incorporated results into a strategy that would build a customer-focused culture to support the company’s growth plans.
  • Designed and implemented a Program Management Office for the IT division of a global consumer packaged goods company. Created a governance structure that held their outsourcing partner accountable to deliverables and timelines. Created portfolio reporting capabilities to provide decision-making analysis to the new CIO.
